Truly great tasting pizza. I may be have a little bias. My cousins started Michaels pizza in Urbana. They truly created a great tasting combinations of crust, sauce, cheese and toppings. Cardinal Pizza is true to this flavor.

Crisp yet soft, chewy crust with a robust tomato-based sauce and cheese made from happy cows. Pizza doesn't get much more Midwestern than Cardinal's Pizza. The staff is friendly towards non-locals and first timers and I'm happy to make the 45 minute drive any day of the week. The locals say the Hawaiian is their favorite.
